Our new name: AOC
2 Corinthians 2:15 - For we are thearoma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,

Aroma of Christ (AOC) is the name the youth have come up with for our group. We wanted a new name that really meant something to us.During some discussion, we decided we wanted something that we could abbreviate, as well as something that sounded like a youth group name. We were reading through Scriptures and dialoging, when we came up with AOC. We talked about how we wanted to have our praise as a sweet aroma to God. The youth really want to focus on praise to God.

Activities:

  • AOC - Sunday School every sunday at 9:45 a.m.
    Guy's and Girls discipleship groups start: P*I*N*C* ladies [Purity and Identity iN Christ] and guys [name still needs some work] split up every other week to go over things that matter most to you.
    • TBA-     Guy's Mud-Football: the rainy, best time of year to play tackle football, get muddy and have fun! More info to come.
  • Youth Praise & Bible study     - Every Wednesday 7:00 p.m.

    This generation is longing for the genuine outpouring of the presence of God. When God and absolute truth become relevant to their cry and their need, this generation will pursue God with the focused energy and life; and these students will someday be the leaders of our church.


    National Youth Ministries
    Under the banner of "Win. Build. Send." National Youth Ministries leads developing students for Christ with programs like Speed The Light, Ambassadors in Mission, Fine Arts Festival, Youth Alive, BibleQuiz and more.


    Speed The Light(STL) is the student-initiated ministry that provides transportation and communications equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 150 countries around the world.
